These are a few questions I’m often asked. If you know me or at least follow me on social media, you’ve likely seen how much my hairstyles change. Whether it’s in twists, up-do’s or a silk press I typically styled it myself. It’s only on rare occasions when my hair is done by someone else. I take pride in my hair because I’ve taken much time to learn and nurture it. I’m mostly self taught and learn through lots of trial and error. At this point I know what styles work for my hair, what products to stay away from and which styles I’d still like to try out.
If you haven’t noticed you will learn how much I love all things around healthy hair. I equally love seeing others embrace their natural hair as well. In previous blogs I’ve shared my journey to embracing my natural hair. It started from the way my parents cared for my hair and taught me to see the beauty in my own texture to learning to do it myself (see Naturalista, Relaxed to Naturalista and Wash N Go) for more. These values are the same ones I’m passing down to my three year old daughter.

Stay connected with me on social media (FB, IG, Pinterest and TikTok). I share my own hairstyles, quick style ideas, share products I’m using and more. I also have tips/tricks and styles for toddlers and young girls. If you have a certain style you’re interested in trying but want to see someone else try it out first, let me know. The goal of these videos is not just to inspire you but it teach you ways to style your own hair.
Service #2 *Hair Consultation
Let’s talk all things natural hair and all things YOUR hair. Together we will untangle hair care routines, products, protective hairstyles and more. I’m here for it all. Whatever questions, experiences or concerns you have we can explore. I’m happy to be an additional resource as you continue to embrace your natural crown. *There is a small fee for this service. I get it. Natural hair can be very intimidating and time consuming especially if you are not use to doing it yourself. Coming up with new styles isn’t always easy either, particularly when a style fails. No worries, I am now availing myself to style only a few clients per month.
